Street Tacos - Oakland

I had heard so many good things about this place so I was excited to finally try it for myself. We ordered to go since our teenagers were waiting on us to eat back at home. Everyone was very polite and patient. The food smelled great and looked even better. All 6 of us were digging in and enjoying everything until my daughter’s boyfriend came across a hair in their street fries. Seconds later I was halfway through my chicken quesadilla and had to literally spit it out to finish pulling the hair out of it. I was so disgusted I couldn’t finish eating. Very disappointing and unexpected.

Okay, let's be real for a moment. Street Tacos. Actually, it needs 10 stars! Hands down, hands up, praise up, this is absolutely the best authentic Mexican cuisine I've ever experienced anywhere! The food is fresh. The taste is extraordinary. The price is absolutely perfect. Oakland, TN has a gem. This is most definitely my weekend spot. Vegetarian options: Just say no meat. Kid-friendliness: Nicely decorated. Once you walk in your in Mexico City. Beautiful place.

Oh my God! This place is amazing! There is nothing bad I can say. The atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant are awesome. The food was top-notch. We had the street fries, the street nachos, chips and guacamole, and a barbacola quesadilla. All the food was amazing. It was so good, it's dangerous, lol. Even after I was full, I still kept eating. The flavors were on point, and this place has the best Mexican food I have ever had. We are definitely going back.

Don't let it's generic name fool you... this place is a gem. We went during a slow time, but our food was fast and it slapped. New favorite Mexican place... maybe favorite restaurant. The chips are a welcomed change and delicious. Guac was amazing. I had the street nachos and they were the best nachos I've ever had. I had a bite of my bf's lamb quesidilla and... wow. The place is small but decorated cute and very clean. Love the outdoor seating area. The staff are friendly and I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. Food is a bit expensive for a stand to order establishment, but it's a lot of food and the quality makes it worth it.

Clean, Friendly, Smells Delicious before you get your foot in the door. Menu is on the wall, easy to read, and will have your mouth watering!!
