I've visited this restaurant before, but this time it was on my daughter's 18th birthday, about 2 weeks after we went to Roscoe's in LA. We thought Roscoe's was good, but I have to say, Embarcadero's version surpassed it! The food arrived quickly and was piping hot! On Sundays, it is important to have patience when visiting this restaurant. My friends and I recently dined here for the first time. While waiting, we enjoyed some bottomless mimosas. I ordered Angie's special and it was delicious! The portion was so generous that I usually can't finish my food, but this time I ate everything because it was just that good. Chicken and waffles. So damn good. The grits were delicious as well. Service was friendly and attentive. Enjoyed a nice breakfast. Will always stop by for breakfast when I'm in the area.

Omg ... I'll get straight to the reason for the 1 star.I took a bite out of my drumstick and red juice (blood) started to drip from the center the center was dark pink red. So, I notified the server that my drumstick was undercooked. WITH HER HANDS she grabbed the undercooked drumstick and took it to the back.I thought I was going to get a new piece. But noooo ... a few minutes later, she brought out the same drumstick (with my bite mark still on it) on a small plate. People at my table were horrified and looking at their plates ... wondering how their food was handled.I was excited to come here. But I'll never come back again. What a shame.
