They still hold true to their value in their food. The way they assemble their hot dogs, with a small wedge of onion, a small wedge of tomato, a hint of mustard and relish, and a hot dog that snaps, provides the perfect bite into a soft bun. Each bite is a delightful mix of flavors, starting with the heat of the onion, followed by the coolness of the tomato, and finishing with the snappy flavor of the delicious sausage. This is a must-try for anyone who hasn't experienced it yet, as it is a piece of Oakland's history that may not be around forever.

Buns are always steamed nicely and the produce is always nice and fresh. I guess it would have to be, the go through is so fast, no chance for it to go bad. I had two of the Famous Casper Dogs, my usual. I love the fact that they put tomato on it. It works so well with the white onion and mustard. All in all, great hot dogs.
