Enjoyed a long layover between flights at Bar 510 near Gate 29 at OAK. Bartender Nicole had excellent music playing. Wonderful service and conversation with Nicole and other guests. Just the right location to ponder, reminisce and prepare for a very meaningful visit to L.A. later today. Great salad and sandwich options too. This will be my spot when I come back to Oakland. Good place to stop by and grab a healthy salad on your way to catch your flight. I had the Super Green Salad with Tofu. I liked the fresh ingredients and the dressing. There were plenty of other ready to go salads to choose from. If you arrive early for your flight, you can take your salad and walk over and catch the view of the bay nearby. If I am ever catching another flight out of the Oakland Airport again, I'll make sure and try another one of their salads.
The bartender Miles was very cool and the atmosphere was nice and quiet compared to other options in Oakland. It's definitely worth the walk!
The staff is very friendly. They serve drinks quickly, including beer and liquor that you can bring into the airport terminal. They also offer pre-made cold sandwiches and beverages. What more could you ask for?
In my opinion, this is the only bar in the airport.
Fantastic service Miles was absolutely amazing he was personable and made our experience spectacular. This bar has the best concept, need a drink to go stop by gate 30. Smaller bar but miraculous service and good snacks.
