Gingers Bar Restaurant - Oakland Park

Warning: beware of fake 5-star reviews! This restaurant engages in shameless business practices. I ordered a simple appetizer, burger, and fries. After waiting for 25 minutes, the only thing that came out of the kitchen was 4 burgers and 1 order of fries for 2 other patrons. Another 15 minutes passed before my food and appetizer finally arrived. It seems they only need one waiter because the kitchen is extremely slow. The hamburger was decent, even though they put toppings on it that I didn't ask for. The fries were disappointing and mostly small, 1-inch pieces. I recommend that the owners redesign their menu on Google Sheets and hire a new cook. I'm surprised this restaurant is still in business. Perhaps they should invite Gordon Ramsay to visit and assess the place.

Amazing ambiance!! Great servers. Great vibes. Fabulous burger. Im all about it. Super friendly wait staff which is way uncommon in this pandemic era of understaffedness. I highly recommend them. Did i say friendly? These awesome people remind you what its like to eat out and enjoy!!! Also- i brought my service dog and he was super welcomed!! They make wine spritzers..just all around a very cool place with no snarky attitudes and great food!!

I had a great time, Willow’ birthday was my first time at Gingers Bar and Restaurant; it was just a coincidence and it was great ‘cause of the Live music with some kinda heavy, heavy performers. Selection of Stouts was on point. I decided to eat my Turkey Dinner at Gingers also so I went back. I tried Absinth presented perfectly. Then I ate a delicious Thanksgivings Dinner. Staff was on Point. Everyone I met, Willow, Zoe, Steven we’re super nice. And thanks to Frenchie, a regular customer met, for checking on me and my motorcycle. Thanks everyone!

I just ate here yesterday for the first time. I’m terrible with names and forgot the name of the lady helping me but she was wonderful! The food was amazing. I always ask recommendations and I’m very glad I did. Amazing food, atmosphere, and people. Can’t wait to come back! (I came at 430 not realizing they literally just opened, so it wasn’t super busy)

Gingers is a great place to hang out. Drinks and food are done by a staff that knows. The food has new items every Thursday.Weekends have events that get you moving. The art work and carvings on the walls will make you think. Easy to get too and plenty of free parking.
