Fat Freddy's Sub Shop - Oakland Park

Since the change in ownership, the quantity and quality on the cold subs has really declined. Been going there for over 20 years and it was always excellent. Not anymore. Don't understand why people buy a successful restaurant and IMMEDIATELY degrade the quality. Too bad. Have tried them twice now since the change, both times dissatisfied. Friends have said the same thing. We won't be back, I'm sure others will do the same. For the same price, I can go to LaSpadas or LouieKs.

Good food ! Hamburger sub was excellent! Great staff! One of the cleanest restaurants I have been in!

I have been going here for 35 years+, Seen a few different owners. But, its the BEST SUBS in town. I love the STEAK subs. But everything is GREAT. Thanks you guys,

I just ordered a turkey club sub. It wasn't very good. The meat was served warm, which was unexpected, made the salach glue skin. The tomatoes were cut instead of thin - also unexpected. I'm insecure when I even got turkey. It looked like ham. The role was the best part. I don't think I'm going back.

Karen Don Designer was right next door! I have my family here during the visit and this place is exactly the same as years ago, great service, fantastic food, it is a never failing type of space! I'm glad my daughter was sitting on the picture right where I was when I was her age!
