The aroma coming from the kitchen was delightful! I bought four loaves of bread, and they were all delicious.

The dedicate... read more This bakery near Rutland Water is excellent! After an 8km walk in the pouring rain, we were delighted to find such a wonderful selection of treats. The dedicated staff made our visit even better, and we’re already looking forward to the café opening soon. The sticky pecan bun and Rutland Rippin were our favorite items, and we can definitely understand why they’re award winners!

A long weekend in the countryside led us to pick up some fresh bread from this place yesterday, but we couldn't resist the sight of the pecan buns and treacle t... read more A long weekend in the countryside led us to pick up some fresh bread from this place yesterday, but we couldn't resist the sight of the pecan buns and treacle tart. The Hambleton Loaf was absolutely delicious, featuring a crispy crust and exquisite flavor and texture—simply perfect! We were already satisfied, but then we tried the rolls: I can honestly say they are the best buns of any kind I've ever had in my entire life! Loaded with pecans, with the perfect dough and beautifully crispy, sweet caramelization on the outside. We loved them so much that we bought more on our way home today, along with some rolls (yum!), indulgent brioche brie bacon rolls (rich and decadent), and some beautifully crafted ciabatta rolls (which we couldn't resist trying and I’m sure they’ll be fantastic). As much as we adore this place, we're grateful that we live an hour away, or else we’d be in serious trouble and probably have to invest in this business!
