I ordered the avocado sandwich with a side of fries and some hummus. As mentioned in other reviews, the falafel was probably the best I've ever tasted! There were plenty of options and the portion sizes were great. Additionally, it's lovely to have outdoor seating on beautiful days. This update reflects my experience as of September 12, 2022. What A Mald doesn't like about Jerusalem Cafe:
Food was mediocre at best. Girl at the counter seemed totally uninterested and was borderline rude. Asked for tahini sauce and she said “that’s extra” and walked away without saying how much it actually was or providing it! Place seemed dirty. $5 extra for frozen French fries and a can soda. What a great falafel and avocado sandwich! Juicy, crispy, richly filled you can't do better than that. Also the service excellent. Congratulations!
Haven’t been here in years but now I regret that! OMG. The chicken shawarma was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and I was blown away by the side veggies. I’ll be coming back a lot more often in the future.
Sandwich exactly what I needed. Fresh and well prepared.
Seriously good. Veggies are especially good. 5 stars
