Louie's Chop House - Oak Lawn

So disappointed! Haven 't been there in forever, and couldn 't wait to go again. Steaks were under cooked, aka raw the shrimp scampi special that came with the steak were 2 shrimp cocktails thrown in the microwave with a dash of lemon juice. They were so rubbery. The dollop of salad dressing on the salad just ruined it. Will have garlic breath for a week!!! Ordered rice got mashed. Drinks were the only good thing but then again how can you mess up beers?

Louie’s Chophouse has amazing food and tremendous service. I would highly recommend Louie’s to everyone!

Made a reservation for 8:15 and did not get a table until 8:45. We were seated right next to a live performer, and thankfully they let my girlfriend and I move to a different table when we asked. The food and service were excellent. I would consider going back if I knew there was no live performance.

We had the pleasure of dining recently on Christmas Eve, the restaurant was busy but not overcrowded. We are return customers and each time we are there, the food is amazing. We have had the steaks, fish and other specialty dishes and all are delicious. The servers are attentive, knowledgeable and give great recommendations. Fantastic place for special occasions or a date night.

I ordered a filet. As the granddaughter of a butcher, it was a buttsteak.
