Reviews - Tapicozza
Reviews summary
Nestled in Chicagoland, this casual Mexican spot earns praise for authentic, flavorful tacos, a wide selection of proteins (including veg and vegan options), creamy green salsa, and comfort-food sides at reasonable prices. Dine-in booths and generous salsa choices complement a menu that draws regional fans. Service and order accuracy are hit-or-miss, and a few diners reported spoiled drinks and one food-safety incident, so expect great value and bold flavors, but occasional inconsistency.

I got the el pastor tacos with onion and cilantro and added cheese to them. When I tasted it, the flavor is bussin, like I was in love?! The buttery kinda flavor that melts in your mouth, that is rare. No chewy pieces either, just straight perfection. This restaurant nailed it, honestly. Hands down the best Mexican food and tacos I?ve tasted in all of Chicagoland. You guys didthat ??
Stay far away from this restaurant! Customer service is extremely rude! Food is horrible! Upset they sold me spoiled horchata and uncooked rice! Beans are horrible and taste like they are water down with a bunch of flour and not cooked throughly. Theworst Mexican restaurant ever!
Food was not good horchata was spoiled(funny taste). Rice and beans was uncooked, beans had a funny taste. Worst customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant to no one. Tacochella, cilantro and Los camales are a few Top Authentic Mexicanrestaurants in this area.

Naturally I was hesitant because it’s a taco joint that also does pizza lol but I was not disappointed. in a town where bougie taco places charge 4-5 dollars a taco . Tapicozza is cheap and authentic. The asada tacos had flavor , salsa is on point, Mexican coke was frosty. 10/10 would eat again Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch
Without a doubt the best tasting tacos I've ever had. No gamey bits, no gross fat on the meat, and super flavorful. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Tacos Steak Pastor Chicken Carnitas Chorizo Ground Beef
I'm not sure what happened, I don't know how a place can get 4.8 stars and I go there and it was one of my worst experiences with fat and gristle I have ever had and I have been to a lot of places. People will probably think I am exaggerating but I forced down half of a steak burrito and never had one bite I didn't have to spit something out. I really wanted to like it, been looking for a good burrito place and am in the area at least twice a month for work, guess I will keep looking.
Drove from Indiana for these tacos! The carnitas, lengua, and tripa tacos with the creamy green salsa are a dream! Their rice also reminded me of my grandmas rice. We will be back! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Taco Plate, •Carnitas, Tripa Taco

I would like to give a six (6) for food and service. One of the best Mexican food experience. Excellent choices for vegetarians. Freshly prepared with fresh veggies. Carry out food was very well packed, with good assortment of salsa (mild to hot) packed in individual sized containers. They have a medium size dine-in space. Entrance is wheelchair accessible, though space inside gives limited space to maneuver wheel chair.Takes about 20-30 minutes for them to prepare your order, but worth the wait.Vegetarian options: Excellent choices for vegetarians. Honestly the best pastor and carnitas I’ve everrrrrr had. Go to this place, you will have no regrets
Service was great. Prices were reasonable and the cashier was super friendly and nice. Food was also good. It's a cute little restaurant and we'll definitely visit again.Dietary restrictions: Dairy
We stopped by to check out this small Mexican restaurant for a quick dinner. It was our first time there. The restaurant was a clean, neat space...alot of food choices, and a very friendly and helpful team. The food came out quickly everything was exactly as ordered..great flavors with very fresh ingredients. This is a real gem of a small neighborhood restaurant! We will definitely return again and again!
