The Oyster 02557 - Oak Bluffs

Excellent service and fantastic cocktails—definitely try the Margarita! The raw oysters were fresh and delicious, while the swordfish was outstanding. We also sampled the linguini with clams, which was flavorful and packed with taste. The shells were great too!

We had a wonderful experience at this charming little diner in Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Although we didn’t order much since we weren’t very hungry, they didn't pressure us to get more, which I really appreciated—it's a pet peeve of mine when that happens. We decided to share the linguine with shellfish, and I have to say, those were the best shells I've ever tasted. They were tender and sweet, quite unlike anything I've encountered in the Midwest. I highly recommend this place! The lobster roll was also excellent—definitely above average compared to typical New England lobster rolls.

Absolutely fantastic for the whole family! They provided chicken fingers for the kids and delicious fish dishes for everyone else.

A great new restaurant with wonderful food and drinks, local ingredients, expert and attentive service, offers both indoor and covered outdoor seating. You don't take reservations, but it wasn't a problem to get a table, especially when you go a little earlier.

AMAZING! We came here after quietly exiting a restaurant nearby that looked like it had seen better days ... Walking into the Oyster Bar we were greeted and seated right away. So glad we came as it was a great last meal on the island. In fact it was the best meal we had on the island all week! Great service, decor food! Very fresh seafood.
