Yar Pyi - Nyaung-U

This family-run restaurant is surely a hidden gem. I spend 6 months here and my wife and I enjoy this restaurant the most. The prices are great and the food is even better. My favorite is the tomatoes peanut curry. My wife loves her fresh mango juice and guacamole with Papadum.

Nice and friendly owner, delicious vegan food with a good price. They also offered free fruits and tamarinds sweet as dessert, which is as friendly and warm. Very recommended.

We are here twice because of the delicious food and the wonderful atmosphere in this family-run restaurant. The Mango Coconut Lassie was the best lassie I've ever had. I highly recommend tasting the tomato peanut curry and the Golden Pumpkin Ginger soup.

Great service at Yar Pyi. We ordered the avocado salad, peanut tomato curry (somewhat like the satay sauce in Singapore), coconut rice and mango lassi. Everything was fantastic; the total bill was 11,000 kyats. They also served a complimentary fruit salad before we left.

Delicious food and cocktails. The best coconut soup I've eaten in Asia! Family business, nice people we come to make sure next time in Bagan.
