The food was brought out in Styrofoam trays and we were given plastic utensils (the thing is that I only use plastic utensils when I dine out, but I always have to ask for it. This time it was given to me, and that didn't sit well with me. I waited patiently for the food (fried whiting and shrimp about 20 min. The food was surprisingly really good. The owner was pleasant and attentive. If you are in the Nyack area and enjoy fried whiting and/or shrimp, stop by there and give it a shot. There are tables outside as well as inside.

The chicken gyro was bland and tasteless even with extra tzatziki. The chocolate mousse looked bad but tasted good. However it needed whipped cream which they did not have in the house. The green tea with lemon and honey was good. The service was slow even there were very few customers and several servers standing around and sitting down at a table. The entire experience was barely acceptable.

I like to go there because we love Gree... read more I always love to visit Kavos Grill. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and they are pet friendly! I like to go there because we love Greek cuisine. We enjoy eating the grilled meat that comes from their kitchen every time we visitthem. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who enjoy Greek dishes or any other type of cuisine as well!
