There’s hardly any friendliness from the staff, and they don’t even ask if you’d like dessert—just simply throw the check at you and exchange only a few words. I’ll likely stick to takeout, but I might come back since it’s conveniently located and decent enough.

He consistently made s... read more The service was outstanding. Our waiter was attentive and knew exactly when to take our order, refill our drinks, and bring us the check. He consistently made sure our water glasses were full and checked on us frequently, perhaps even a bit more than necessary. The crab rangoon appetizer was delicious and paired nicely with a great sauce. My only issue was with the rice served with the teriyaki hot plate; it wasn’t quite the sticky rice I had hoped for, as it didn’t cling to the chicken as well as I expected. The atmosphere was pleasant but lacked a cohesive theme. Overall, it’s a great sit-down restaurant worth visiting, with reasonable prices for the quality of food. As for parking, Yama Fuji is located in front of a large parking lot that serves various stores and restaurants in the plaza, so finding a spot is not a problem at all.

The food is consistently delicious, the staff is wonderful—always kind and quick—and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed. We absolutely love this place!
