To start, I was surprised that I needed res... read more I chose to visit this restaurant for sushi and hibachi while in town with family, hoping for a nice sit-down dinner. To start, I was surprised that I needed reservations for a nearly empty restaurant. The waiter was also overly aggressive in taking our orders, which was particularly challenging given that they were out of several items, including steak, chocolate milk, Sprite, root beer, sparkling water, and even cherries for a Shirley Temple. When I inquired about their children's hibachi meal, the waiter rudely assumed our child's age, mistakenly thinking she was over 12. Finally, when it came time to pay, I requested a military discount but was refused. I was also misled when told that the waiter would ask the manager over the phone, even though the manager was sitting right in the front. We eventually spoke to her, and she clarified that they were only out of steak until the next day. While the manager did offer a 7% discount of $10 off our bill, it felt disrespectful considering the deceptive treatment we received from the staff throughout our visit. I urge the restaurant to improve their customer service skills for future guests. As a dissatisfied customer, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

There’s hardly any friendliness from the staff, and they don’t even ask if you’d like dessert—just simply throw the check at you and exchange only a few words. I’ll likely stick to takeout, but I might come back since it’s conveniently located and decent enough.
