Ristorante Mario - Nürnberg

Searching for Cannelloni while in town. This dish used to be on the menu in every Italian restaurant in Germany, but over the years it has become harder and harder to find. So imagine my delight when I saw it on the menu. For those that are not familiar with this dish, it consists of meatfilled pasta tubes that are topped first with a tomato sauce and then with cheese. This is oven baked and served piping hot... Yes you will burn you mouth and fingers, but it's worth it. I did enjoy this bubbling hot mess. Washed in down with a nice Aperol Spritz to cool me down a little. The menu is extensive, service friendly and it is conveniently located along a subway route. Well worth a visit.
