What Reinhold Opitz doesn't like about Quo Vadis:
Visited with my wife whi.st on a short stay in nuremberg. Typical friendly Italian restaurant offering broad variety of dishes at reasonable prices. For a starter I had as good a beef carpaccio as you will find in any top restaurant whilst my wife started with a plain fresh salad which she enjoyed. As a family of four, we called in on the off chance of getting a table, on a Saturday night at the end of July, as we were stopping overnight in Nuremberg on our way to Hungary. We got lucky, and they seated us at an outside table. The waiter was very helpful and charming, and with much pointing and Google Translate, we managed to order some pizza and drinks. The food was freshly cooked, piping hot, and delicious. On our way back from Hungary, we again stopped in Nuremberg overnight, and decided to try our luck again at Quo Vadis; this time it was a Friday night in early August, but once again, we were seated in minutes. On this occasion, the children again opted for pizza (no great surprise!) however I chose the Penne with Gorgonzola and Pear, and husband went for Pappardelle with Salmon and Basil. Once again the food was an absolute delight, and was very reasonably priced. My husband and I, on this occasion, fancied a bottle of wine - however with the cheapest bottle coming in at around £26, we decided a glass each would be sufficient!Overall, a lovely little restaurant, and if we're ever in Nuremberg again, we'd certainly go back.
I go to this restaurant almost on a weekly basis. They have always a seasonal menu and the traditional dishes.Always with a welcoming and warm smile ready to throw a party for your palate. They have a nice selection of wines and Prosecco as well as grappa.Try the grill of the day and the spaghetti with truffles.

For a starter I had as good a beef carpaccio as you will find in any top restaurant whilst my wife started with a plain fresh salad which she enjoyed. Her Dover sole was perfectly cooked as were the accompanying vegetables. For a main course I ordered saltinbocca , a dish that I had not eaten for a good 30 years. It was ok but not overly exciting. Desert was nicely made and presented casata and all washed down with a good dry prosecco.Worth a visit even if you want to have a pizza.
After nearly a year he returned to Nuremberg for a new vacation. I could not help but return to the restaurant Quo Vadis to enjoy the best Italian dishes in Germany. As always, the restaurant offers the best quality of food and the staff the greatest kindness that makes you feel at home.
Best Italian restaurant in Nurnberg! Food is fresh & delicious, real taste of Italy! Service is always fast and very friendly. They have also a great wine list with normal prices. I recommend this place 100%!
