I had phoned booking for 3 people , at 4.30 pm left a booking AND my phone number on the... read more The owner wanted to go home on Sunday at 20 30 and closed the kitchen. I had phoned booking for 3 people , at 4.30 pm left a booking AND my phone number on the answering machine, booking for 3 for 20.30, as a colleague was arriving by air. Once we arrived on time , we were told the kitchen was just closed notwithstanding the website says they are open for business till 22.00 on Sunday. We then found a very friendly Italian restaurant in the old town who looked after us. I am sure his wife is a great Thai cook, he is on the contrary the typical arrogant German, selfish and rude.

Reading previous reviews, it 's clear that the owner h... read more After a memorable visit with eight guests on a Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m., I wanted to leave a review. Reading previous reviews, it 's clear that the owner has a major problem with criticism – and this aligns with our experience. When asked if we could order tea, the answer was we 're not a tea house ; when asked how one should interpret spicy on the menu, the reply was simply spicy ; the list could go on for many lines, but it 's pointless, as self-criticism is apparently a foreign concept. Therefore, in short: we all enjoyed excellent appetizers and main courses, but we will certainly not be returning.
