I have been there twice and tried the arayes musakan hummus beetroot dip spicy potato fattoush. I think each plate’s portion is enough for one person only. Excellent quality and taste. The staff are very friendly. Loved the restaurant. View all feedback.
The taste we're very delicious, but they serve in tiny dishes! And there is a lot of t’heenia.
Excellent service and amazing food . The ambience is great .
Asma serves authenticity Middle Eastern and Arabic food in Dubai Mall. We visited this place few months ago, and loved their set menu that was curated for tasting purpose. What we tried: Their famous crispy corn on the cob with smoked capsicum sauce and aioli. Musakhan: it is minced chicken wrapped in thin roti with pine nuts, sumac, caramelised onions, served with tahini. Good filling, can be shared by two and reasonable price. Talking about the taste, we found it little dry. Beef skewers: marinated beef in middle eastern flavours that is been grilled to perfection served with tahini and pickled onion salad. so flavourful, well cooked, soft and crunchy!! Definitely one of the must try from the menu. Smoked tomato prawns: this is served along with rice. We loved their Ummali, that is kinda bread pudding with pistachio, cocktail flakes served with cream. Other dessert tried was Muhallabia All dishes presented well and staff is very courteous.
I have grown up around Middle eastern cuisine and it’s always been my comfort food. Nothing like a bowl of Zaatar and freshly baked bread to get the spirits up! I was intrigued to hear about contemporary Arabic food , which is why I visited this place. It does not disappoint , the interiors are very comforting with the initial entrance area more casual , leading to more cozy areas for families . Their food is light , fresh and unique. My favourites were the Labneh and Zaatar , Beetroot and Labneh you need to appreciate pickled beetroot for this dish , the crispy corn and the fried halloumi which is served with a coriander dip. My nephew ordered the Arayess which was unlike the traditional dish this one resembling more like an empanada stuffed with meat . It reminded me of the “kafta kebob” in New York . The flower of he cauliflower was also delicious and not as greasy as it usually is. If you visit this place, you have to order the Al Quds bread, it’s served warm on the table and tastes heavenly , especially if your a fan of sesame if your into Middle Eastern , how can you not ? I had to literally stop my self from downing these , all on their own . For dessert I personally had the Saffron Kunafeh. It was distinct from the other heavy cheesy kunafehs offered in other places. The Service is very attentive , the pricing is reasonable for the place and most likely you will walk out feeling lighter than when compared to traditional Middle Eastern food.
Excelent food, best Arabic restailed menu with a new concept. I have been already 4 times and always get better and better. Highly recommended
