Definitely wasn 't what I expected. I ordered the Large pork chops and grits breakfast but received a very small very thin, cold, hard pork chop instead. $17.99 for a large pork chop that was paper thin and over cooked. Makes me wonder what the smallorder would look like?!.Just a bone!? Eggs were cold and tasted old, so did the grits. I ordered my food at 8am, you would thinkeverything would be fresh first thing in the morning, especially since they had just opened. Never again

The gentleman there was very nice. The food not so much. The turkey wings were horrible They were boiled with no seasoning, mostly bones. Yellow rice was not seasoned. Mac n cheese had no cheese. Butter only and noodles. The greens where seasoned withthe boiled turkey wings. Spent 15.00 on food I could not enjoy. I CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW DISAPPOINTED I WAS WITH THIS BLAND MEAL.It is up to you to decide to eat here. I can only advise I will not be back.

I visited Lillie Mae's for my birthday lunch and I couldn't be happier! I ordered a double serving of the collard greens, and they were absolutely delicious! The peach cobbler was the perfect way to end a wonderful meal. Thank you!

I had a great experience when I ordered takeout for the first time—those turkey wings were incredible! However, two days later, I decided to get the same dish but had to place a pickup order online. After trying to call several times and only reaching their voicemail, I finally received a confirmation that my order was accepted and my payment was processed. I placed the order at 7:30 and arrived at 8:00, only to discover that my order had been canceled and the restaurant was closed, even though they don't close until 8:30. It was very disappointing. There was no call, text, or email notification about my order. I guess I'll have to start looking for another soul food restaurant in Tampa.

Order at your own risk! This place is located inside a gas station, and the food is the worst I've ever tasted. I wasted over $80 on my meal, and I wouldn’t even feed this to a dog! I ended up throwing everything away. I don't understand why there are positive reviews; they're so misleading. I'm extremely disappointed!
