It is simple , hearty and tastes home made. The salads were very very fresh with a tasty dressing. They make home made fries which are amazing. The decor is very unassuming but the restaurant was pretty full for a quiet day showing that they have a loyal clientele. I will definitely return in the future.

Dinner we had a really tasty pork chop and an excellent burger. Gerard and his team always welcoming and friendly, with a lovely sense of humour and generous spirit. Central location, mix of sun and shade. We missed the massive old plane tree this year having died, it was felled during the winter.
