I absolutely adore the wide range of delicious shakes offered at this restaurant. My wife and I have made it a tradition to visit whenever we have a day in Nottingham together. We have been here numerous times over the years and I have never had the same shake twice, but each one has been incredibly tasty. My wife particularly loves the Dave Milkshake and always gets it whenever we come. View all feedback.
What TR6 KID doesn't like about Shakeaway:
The shakes are good, at least the one I had was. However, I have noticed long lines on hot days and the service is not very efficient. The main issue is that the process is slow, but the staff could make more of an effort. The value for the price is not the best, but I would still recommend giving it a try. View all feedback.
My sons love to visit here when we go to nottingham, so many different aromes that they join together, they have tried so many different, we were there yesterday! we sometimes have something to wait, but that is because, as popular this place is, everything fresh and immaculately clean
Really amazing little milk shake bar, I had a Linited Edition Mint Aero and Oreo milkshake and it was better than I expected, the Regular size I had was more than enough as it was quite filling but it was definitely worth the price I paid. I will be returning for sure.
The most gorgeous shake ever you would drink Try the magnificent Nutella shake
On a hot day, in a fantastic location in the Old Market Square (with or without an event/festival) on the day and you need something to quench your thirst. Shakeaway is brilliantly located and has plenty choices of milkshakes, the staff are often swamped by the huge queues that are for the milkshakes on a hot day. They do a brilliant job, the milkshake is to die for again and again. I thoroughly enjoy Shakeaway and always look forward to Spring and Summer, brilliant Only wish more opened in the city
This place is like a honey pot to the local teenagers, although it's puzzling to see why given you'll probably have quite a wait for your drink (took us 15 mins to get served), will struggle to walk away without handing over a fiver for a single drink and there is so much sugar in the mix. I'm sure the franchise owners will point out that they have an extensive menu to select from and that this places the control in the hands of the customer, but in my view, the complexity of the menu means longer queues and it really is very hard choosing something that isn't packed full of calories or slathered in cream. We were dragged in here by a pre teen as it's apparently trendy and clearly aren't the target demographic. But if you want to understand the creeping obesity crisis, the roots are in places like this, ironic given a single drink doesn't cost much less than an hour's work at minimum wage. My advice buy a tub of ice cream and a punnet of fruit from the market, take them home and make fresh drinks for the whole family for the price of one here........
