since the new owners took over some weeks ago, it is a completely different place. the quality of food is a massive improvement. also the employees are happy to see them and will have a laugh and sweat with them. a pleasure to visit and it will definitely be again soon! View all feedback.

Not sure what other people were moaning about when talking about customer service, the staff were lovely. Though there was no fish ready, they quickly cooked me a fresh one it was delicious, and as mentioned by others the size was immense. Would happily go back. View all feedback.
Ordered fish chips peas and gravy. It was absolutely lovely. The fish was to die for. All fish and not all batter like other shops. It was hot. Can't praise them enough. Wish them all the luck in the world for the future.
After waiting for months, my husband and I finally had fish and chips for dinner. It was definitely worth the wait. I also ordered a pot of curry sauce and we received a complimentary cod roe. The food was excellent. I couldn't finish all the chips because there were too many, but I made sure to eat all the fish. Thank you for the delicious meal!
Hesitantly returned after previous bad experiences, under New management now so as we live locally thought we would give it a go.... Glad we did. The management and staff were lovely,respectful and very helpful. We ordered fish chips, pie, peas n gravy and cheese n onion fritter,wrapped. We had potato fritter open which we ate on the walk home.. They were delicious... I wanted to walk back for another. The food was still red hot when we got home, the fish was fresh and the batter was crispy, the steak pie was fabulous, pastry was just like a home made pie and the gravy was thick n tasty... We had no complaints about the whole meal... Will definatley be using the chippy again.
