Feedback
Reviews praise Paste for friendly service, generous portions and authentic Thai flavours but note fiery spice levels and occasional seafood prep inconsistencies.
Visited Paste with friends whilst on a weekend away in Nottingham. It was nice and straightforward to book a table and the restaurant is in a good central location. The food comes out quickly but in terms of taste/ flavour it’s very average. I had the thai green curry which was described as ‘hot’ in terms of spice level, but it really wasn’t and was actually quite bland. ‘Thai style chips’ were also not what I had expected, they were just some chips with what could be compared to peri salt sprinkled on top. The service was fine and the restaurant itself was nice and clean. Just the food that is a bit underwhelming.
Really central and a lovely independent restaurant with authentic Thai dishes, beautifully cooked and presented. Venture beyond all the chains, you will not regret it.
I recently dined at this restaurant with friends for the first time before a show. The dining room was nice, the service was efficient and friendly, and the food was excellent.
Often visits here with friends. Awesome atmosphere and friendly staff. The green curry here is really delicious, definitely a must try!

Regulars say the kitchen is unusually flexible: if heat or seafood prep worries you, the team will happily discuss swaps or spice adjustments — and it’s common for diners to customise dishes on arrival rather than sticking rigidly to the menu.
