The service at the bar was fast w... read more I visited this restaurant for the second time in a month, and I can hardly believe it, but the food was even better this time. The service at the bar was fast with no hassle, and opening a tab was easy. The steak was incredible, it literally melted in my mouth. I can't understand why this place isn't busier. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the prices were just right. I will definitely be going back again. I've lived in this area since 1979 and I can't believe how amazing this pub is once again.

The staff was incredibly helpful, especially when I explained that my daughter has a milk allergy. Chelsea came out with a list of all allergens and offered to have the chef cook and keep her food separate. The service was excellent, and I will definitely be returning in the future.

Varied menu, something for everyone at... read more Visited for Sunday lunchtime, didn't realise it was no longer part of the Hungry Horse chain. Very p!easantly surprised. Varied menu, something for everyone at reasonable prices. The Sunday lunch (lamb) came with all the trimmings and fresh vegetables -very well received. The fajitas were spicy, steak and chicken, and the mixed grill was good too. All portion sizes were generous and the food was served piping hot. Service was swift and attentive. Jack Rabbit wine at under £8 a bottle washed it all down a treat. Compliments to your chef and staff, keep up the good work. We'll be back....
