The restaurant is in a nice well decorated roo... read more We stayed 3 nights at the Masseria de la Volpe hotel and initially planned to go there for diner on each evening. The restaurant is in a nice well decorated room. First evening: we waited for 15 minutes to get our booked table that was “ready in 2 minutes”. The food was ok. Second evening: the waiter did not ask if we were willing to drink anything with our diner. The lamb was over cooked. A third of meats were not available (like the day before, but we the waiter did not bother to inform us about that). Then, when we asked for desserts, the waiter provide us with the menu, but he took it back 5 minutes later and left without even asking if we wanted something... Third evening: we decided to drive to Rosolini instead of dining there. Really disappointed by this restaurant.

Very creative chef, he makes you enjoy surprising new flavours by combining ingredients you wouldn't expect, but all very natural. Enjoy a main course as cod in sugar. Or how about a dessert only composed of vegetables? A delight, I've had it twice in a row. Staff is very friendly and they all speak english fluently.
