Had supper here in July and someone paid it forward for my wife and I. The restaurant is family owned and operated. We just love the way the owners have taught their children to run the business. View all feedback.
What Virginia M doesn't like about Jiang's Restaurant:
We went here for takeout Chinese food and it was ready on time but was not worth waiting for. This was one of the worst Chinese food restaurants we have been to. It just seemed like everything was made with cheap ingredients. The pork fried rice tasted like Minute rice, the noodles in the Cantonese chow mein were gloppy and stuck together. The curry had some kind of curry spice in it but was made up of more gloppy no... View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is consistently fresh and not greasy. The prices are affordable, and you can't find a meal of that quality for the same price elsewhere. The take-out service is quick and generous.
Four of us visited this restaurant today on July 19, 2021. We were not allowed to sit inside, even though other restaurants were open for indoor dining. We had to ring a bell for service, which was unusual. It seems they prefer customers to call ahead for an order, but we were not informed of this when we called the day before. When we asked the person at the window about the time it would take to receive our order, he was unable to provide a clear answer, only saying it would take longer than expected. It seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. We were disappointed by the attitude and lack of customer service, so we decided to leave. Despite planning to spend between $40 to $60, they did not seem to care. In our opinion, this place is not worth the time or money. There are better dining options in Hastings.
This restaurant offers excellent fast takeout service. It is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the county. It is truly a family-run establishment.

This restaurant is hidden on the back street in Hastings...actually its the front street but at the far end...the quite end of town....This was my first visit here and the service was excellent and the servers were very friendly. I ordered the dinner for 2 so I could eat dinner and have more for my lunch the following day....boy there was enough for another dinner again ! Drove 15 minutes after receiving order home , packaged perfectly with sauces and fortune cookies....and still very warm as I dished this out on to my plate ! Its great to have this restaurant so close....I will be back. There is a few tables to eat inside if you so choose.....ample parking as well !
