After moving to this area over 10 years ago, we discovered Ming Star and it remains our favorite. Not only do they serve the best Chinese food, but they have also managed to stay open during the pandemic by offering takeout only. I went here with my family, like i often do, the food was fine but upon leaving the store our waitress started going on about how we need to pay her %15 extra for her tip! We asked if we could see the manager, she said she was the manager. We then asked if we could speak with her boss and she said he was sleeping and did not speak English. We stopped going because the delicious food was always cold.Tried it again a few years later and the food is hot and delicious.Not much variety for lunch but dinner has more selection
Buffet noon and dinner times , great food , consistent menu and super staff and owners. good place to take the family for a reasonable nite out to eat.
Ming always has a hot buffet ready to go when you walk in with a variety of offerings on the steam table. However if you want to have a better, dining experience order fresh off the menu. Great Moo goo guy pan, egg foo young, jardo wings......never had a disappointing meal and we order often.
My wife and I stopped this afternoon once done shopping, we were the only ones in the place as buffet started in an hour. The staff was very friendly and the lunch was fantastic. Portion size was large, price was well below what was expected(less in total than a McMeal) and an hour later I don't have that swollen joint thing you get when loaded with MSG.
This small town restaurant is a delight. Good food and great service. For $12.99 AYCE you get a nice choice of hot foods, small salad bar and small dessert bar. I don't normally do AYCE, but this is one place i do.
