Some of this may have been for the hire of a roo... read more We were there for a wake following a relative's funeral. The food was nice but for £640 it felt VERY expensive. Some of this may have been for the hire of a room but even so there were only plates of sandwiches, cheese sticks, sausage rolls and cake and only 50 I would say were being catered for and so something like £13 per head! I would suggest looking around elsewhere. Parking was also tricky.

When we arrived we were happily accommodated for. The service was good, the food however, was another level. I did not expect such a high standard of food! The pork belly was to die for. Cooked perfectly. The chicken supreme, bread and butter pudding, also great. Great value for money too. We have recommended The Eagle to family and friends too!
