Dixie Donuts - Norwich

Dixie Donuts has the best donuts in the Tri-State area and this is a hill where I am ready to die. These are not your Dunkin Donut's mass producers and sent to the stores already stale. They hand over all their donuts and other pastries. Better there early, although they are usually complete from 12:00 or 1:00

Little hole in the wall donut shop with a line out the door for a reason. Didn't try the breakfast sandwiches or coffee, but was told that all of the donuts are made by a single man in the back who works all day at his craft and you can tell. Great donuts

The best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. Humble and kind staff. My family and I enjoy getting there very early in the morning right when everything is still warm from the oven.

When I arrived, there was already three other cars in the parking lot and a mix of older and younger people. I'm glad I got in when I did on a Saturday before 8 o'clock. Because it soon as I got in there begin to have a crowd of people that came in. So get there before 8 AM to miss the crowd. I chose quite a few of their different donuts. It looked interesting. Heading home to try them out. They also have delicious coffee. I got home and the coconut cream donuts were the best out of everything that I got. Definitely recommend those for anybody that likes coconut.

This little doughnut shop appears to be well loved by their regulars. I witnessed lovely exchanges between some of them. We received lukewarm service the morning we stopped by. The pros were the doughnuts appear to be made fresh and were good. The cons were that our rolls on our breakfast sandwiches were burnt. Even one of the other well known customers commented to the staff when he walked in, what are you guys burning? Little did we know that it was the inside of our rolls. It 's a simple mistake that could have been easily remedied.
