They paid great attention to the details of my order, and the fries arrived hot and fresh! The hot dogs were delicious too.
I was passing through town when I stumbled upon this delightful waterfront restaurant. I couldn't decide what I enjoyed more: their delicious Lobster Roll or the lovely outdoor patio dining right by the water. The food was outstanding, and the location is perfect, just off the main road. If you're searching for a great lunch spot, I highly recommend stopping by and savoring an ice cream cone while enjoying the breathtaking marina views. I will definitely be back. It's a fantastic discovery!
I typically don’t care for fried seafood, but when we had guests visiting from out of state, I knew Overton's was the place to take them. I'm so glad I did, because the food was amazing! The scallops and shrimp had a distinct flavor, which is rare for fried dishes. My usual issue with fried seafood is that it often tastes predominantly like the breading, but that wasn’t the case here. I’ll definitely be returning!
I ordered a lobster roll from Overton's, but when it arrived, it was cold and unappetizing. The customer service left much to be desired. I waited in my car for 15 minutes before finally hearing someone call out a number for a lobster roll. When I received my order, it was still cold, and the staff refused to reheat it, replace it, or offer a refund. Management explained they couldn’t afford to lose money by making another lobster roll or issuing a refund. But what about me, the dissatisfied customer? The register staff insisted they had been calling my number, but I clearly heard other numbers while waiting right in front—they never called mine. It’s disappointing to see how the overall experience and menu quality at Overton's have declined since the pandemic. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.
