The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. The view of the River Tweed was stunning. There were plenty of choices on the menu and the specials were particularly enjoyable.
Six of us had lunch here in the october. we came from Edinburgh and met with my brothers from the south. four of us had drunk with chips and salat. my wife had fishcake with salat. the other one I can't remember. the service was friendly, and the food was equally excellent. like the puddings: chocolate brews with vanilla ice cream, generous portioned pear mandeltee, a fill dessert with chocolate and celestial. photos of the roofs of the old town later. we are very happy to come back.
I was really pleased to secure a table as they were fully booked and the restaurant was busy. The service was top-notch, with all staff being very friendly, and the tables were consistently kept clean. The dining experience was great, with a wide variety of choices and everything tasting very fresh.
Looking out across Berwick on tweed, The Maltings cafe offers incredible views of the town , and great menu . The scotch egg and Fishcakes were scrumptious , really done well .
