What Westononthemove doesn't like about The Lowrys At Chandlery:
This restaurant is just around the corner from our hotel, we decided to have a sandwich after walking the wall. Stopped here for lunch on our first day in Berwick-upon-Tweed. Food was fresh and flavourful. I had the open crab sandwich and my wife had soup of the day. Both very nice and we followed it up with fruit and cheese scones..... fantastic. Beautiful views, we will be back here again for sure. View all feedback.

read moreLocated on the quay, this cafe offers mixed experiences. While some found the staff rude and unhygienic, others enjoyed fresh, flavourful food with great service. The fresh crab sandwiches were a hit for some, while others felt they were overpriced and lacked quality. Positive notes were made on the warm chocolate orange brownie and fantastic fruit and cheese scones. With beautiful views and a great atmosphere, this cafe seems to be a hit or miss depending on individual experiences. If in the area, it may be worth a visit for coffee and baked goods.
Fantastic crab sandwich followed by excellent key lime pie. Highly recommended.
