What Helen P likes about Spartan Spice:
We got a takeaway from here at the weekend and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. I had the tikka meat masala with pilau rice and peshwari naan. There was plenty of sauce and meat and everything was hot and tasty. My only criticisms were I found a small bone in a piece of the meat and my naan was a bit burnt but it still tasted good. My friends enjoyed theirs, too. View all feedback.

I am extremely disappointed with the food I received from this restaurant. I ordered a donner kebab wrap, but what I received was not Donner meat. It looked more like shredded rat meat and was so thin that it resembled a plain tortilla wrap. The pizza dough was undercooked and inedible, and the chips were raw. When I called to complain, the restaurant staff were rude, refused a refund, and expected me to come back to collect a fresh order with a wait time of 1 hour and 30 minutes. Despite explaining that I had a young child at home and asking for delivery, they showed no remorse. The customer service was terrible and the food was so bad that I had to throw it away. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone and would give it a 0 rating if possible.

Me and my partner have just had a takeaway delivered.....chicken tikka naan and it was absolutely rotten. Couldn’t even finish it.....best part about it was the salad and the delivery driver. Shame on you spartan spice never again.

We ordered a takeaway last night and had curries. The portion sizes were huge, the chicken tasted beautifully grilled and the sauce was to die for. The only negative I would give is that we ordered a chicken tikka naan, to be honest it was quite tasteless with very little chicken in it. I have had chicken tikka naans from elsewhere and they have had a lot of flavour and taste but I unfortunately found that one quite bland. But, that wouldn’t stop me from reordering and I would definitely recommend to others. Thanks for a lovely meal :
