Haydon Bridge Fish And Chip Shop

Friendly service, nice and fast. good choice of chippy stuff and pizzas etc. battery was nice on fish and chips well cooked and plentiful. I'm sure they'll call again.

I ordered a middle huh kebab and was really disappointed, a cheap naan with less than a chicken breast full of huh, the salat was really small, I asked for extra and they did not add it to my order.

We're on the way back from aston a few days ago. the place was clearly taken over and completely redesigned. they are making pizzas and kebabs now and are much more busy, but I am happy to say that the fish and chips were as good as ever. the only light negatiw was that they no longer take cards, what I think is a step back in these covid days. because the money machine in the haydon bridge is currently out of action after a ramraid, this meant my mum and I had to share a chips, as we did not have enough for two full portions, but otherwise everything is good.

Wow, where do I start? for many years this was a great chippy, it has changed the hands a few times and quickly went down. I can confirm that it is now on the floor. in old motor oil not gold-coloured, but an evil strange brown color...taste as if they were also cooked in old motor oil. just in the am it went and a drop of £20 so they make a solid and avoid.

After reading some positive reviews for this fish chip shop at Haydon Bridge we thought we would give it a go. We came away very disappointed. Fish chips i have to say were the worst we have ever had I hate to...waste food, but we couldn't eat them. Batter on fish soggy in the middle hardly any fish plus chips had a strange taste to them. To top it off very expensive, if it had been good I wouldn't have minded paying the price. Sorry but we won't be returning.
