What Howlings doesn't like about The Samson Inn:
Went with friends to this pub and had great pub grub, good beers and excellent service. The only thing that let it down for me was the chairs. They were so uncomfortable. I actually could not wait to get up and walk around. Such a shame as it became to focal point of a good night View all feedback.

Lovely meal using local produce. Vegetarian option was one of the best I have had for a while, my partner says his burger was very tasty . Good service and high quality food!

Lovely local pub with great character. Friendly helpful staff, fine local beers and a great range of non alcoholic drinks too. Excellent gluten free options, with reassuringly strict processes to keep coeliacs safe.
Stayed 2 nights first class service with excellent food and drinks on offer. Staff extremely friendly and pleasant. Been previously and the number of tables have been considerably reduced in line with covid regulations felt safe. Room clean and tidy with walk in shower. Ideal location to see the best bits of Hadrian's Wall.
