My family were in Newbigging by the Sea for a week and we went to the Caffe twice, once for takeaway ice cream and the other for sit in coffee and ice cream. The food was lovely (especially the banana ice cream), the staff were very helpful and the place was completely covid compliant with lots of sanitizer and the staff all wearing masks. What IndiTheBull doesn't like about Bertorelli:
Went down newbiggin sea front for a ncie walk along the beach and stopped in for a coffee and ice cream on the way back. There was a selection of about 8 ice cream flavours that were very nice but it was 2.60 for a waffle cone with *a* scoop if ice cream. Comparing that to some others that are similarly priced but they cram the cone with a couple of scoops, it was a bit stingy. View all feedback.
We were driving along the coast visiting the places featured in Vera. Couldn’t resist an Italian coffee and a slice of cake. Delicious! Great service by the staff!
Very quick polite service. Great food and coffee. Welcoming staff on a cold wet windy morning. Would have liked to try the ice-creams had the weather been warmer.
Fine for a cup of tea and bacon butties but no fried eggs on offer and we don't eat red meat. Also you have to sit outside with your dog.
Friendly staff and good service, also the food was very yummy. I totally recommend the ice cream because it was Delicious!
Very pleasant watering hole adjacent to the beach. Stunning location and attentive service. Just ordered snacks and children's meals but absolutely no complaints about the menu or food quality. Clean and friendly, COVID precautions excellent. Our table was cleared very quickly from the previous diners...
