I drive all the way to this Cupid's from Simi Valley because the one in Simi Valley has sucked for the past few years at least. It's darker and tastes heavily seasoned and they use thick cheese shreds. The ones from here are delicious! Smooth and mild tasting chili and the dogs have that delicious snap! The service and staff were perfectly fine, and I didn't encounter any issues there. However, the hot dog I had was honestly the worst I've ever tasted. I've had better hot dogs from a 7-Eleven. There was no noticeable flavor of chili; it just tasted like soggy bread. The only flavors came from the mustard and the odd neon green relish. Overall, it was a disappointing dish. Cupids has been a part of my goat fraud for 50 years, but the Northridge site has gone sideways! the chili tasted directly from the dose! the rest was good, but the man, what happened? new owners cut corners? we are now going to the canoga park location. okay here is an update my son and I decided to see if winnetka was better and we ordered two chili dogs and the chili was on point the original tasty quality we expected sad northridge they fail winnetka is our new way to spot
? Hot Dogs?, The biggest chili dogs Hot Dogs so many other types of dogs everywhere!!! Plus don't forget the chips a nice ice cold drink!!! The family has come here for years (three generations strong) it is like heaven? Earth! The great tasting chili the hot dogs she has that snap on a fresh bungalow. So, no matter how you eat it classic or chili onion mustard or with ketchup or it's all so delicious again! Hey! Thank you for all the great years for all the new girls working on all the old ones who have been here! to you all!!!?????? Great job!!!
When it comes to hot dogs, this is THE place. Not sure if it's the Vienna all-beef hot dogs, the chili or what, but everything I've eaten here is perfect. Perhaps because it's a family run business? The food quality and freshness can't be beat.
My mom I were craving a hot dog, so I went to Cupids for the first time ordered 2 triangles, 1 w/ tomato when I served the one without tomato to my mom, I noticed a dark hair in it. (See picture) (Mom I have white hair) It went straight into the trash, along with the one with tomato, because I was disgusted disappointed.
