Wieterturm - Northeim

You can walk 2 km high from the forest ground of Northeim or drive the narrow road to the Wieterturm. There is a small parking lot and the possibility to eat and drink. We drank only 2 small Cola and a small Rhabarber Schorle for 7,20€. The conditions were nice. But only two and had to do it. So it took a while to pay, but you can understand. The view was beautiful and highly recommended.

The place is quite suitable to take something there, especially as the prices are reasonable and the service is very friendly. What distinguishes this place is the view. From the terrace alone, people can take a look at the distance and have a rewarding insight into the valley and the beautiful little town of Northeim. The secret tip, however, is to ask at the vault for the key for the namer in the background and to dare the small ascent to the cradle tower. The few steps up there, in particular with correspondingly good weather and the associated remote view, are an absolute highlight, because the panoramic view from there to the entire environment is beautiful and invites you to dream. Should people have looked at each other when the opportunity arises.

The view is very beautiful. The ambience is good, but also has potential for more. The food was good, the value fits.
