This is a decent spot for diner food. Although the service can be slow, the staff is friendly. I appreciate that the owner is always present and attentive to the details. It’s a nice, central location for outdoor dining. However, I would recommend avoiding the fresh items on the menu and sticking to options like pancakes and omelettes. The pancakes I ordered with mixed berries were entirely covered in a thick, gray substance, and the strawberries were mushy. While I received an apology and a few edible pancakes, I didn’t ask for a refund. Still, the experience has made me hesitant to order a salad, as I'm unsure about their ingredients. On a positive note, the portion sizes are huge, which is why my child enjoys coming here for pancakes.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. It was a popular breakfast spot, especially for a Wednesday morning. The service was good, and the food was very tasty and fresh. I highly recommend it if you’re in the Northbrook area!

I’ve been coming here for five years, probably over 100 times, as my wife and I visit most weekends. We’ve never had a negative experience. The food is fantastic, and the service is outstanding. The owner always makes us feel like VIPs whenever we walk in. It may sound strange, but this is our favorite restaurant. We’ve created wonderful memories and a sense of community here.

This is a fantastic and classic brunch spot in Northbrook that I've been visiting for the past 15 years. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is consistently excellent. Personally, I'm a big fan of their offerings! The prices are quite reasonable as well. I've never had a bad experience with the staff or the food! I particularly enjoyed the chic and beautiful challah French toast that my friend ordered!
