Intelligentsia - Northbridge

The food in this cafe is average but adequate for a quick lunch. However I found a staff member to be very rude, no idea of customer relations. She snapped at me “didn’t you listen to what I told you “. Well yes I did but she was the one in the wrong and wasn’t listening to me! She swore at me under her breath when I turned to leave. Needless to say I will not be going back and nor will my friends.

A meet up choice for two old friends so ... coffees brunch a long chat but the team at Inner Cravings Cafe now called were always obliging attentive charming ... just what made the 2 hours spent there so comfortable. Even though the cafe is inside it is full of light is open airy. When staff are always smiling laughing it makes for a happy experience. Thanks girls the kitchen produced a wonderful Brunch ... nearly forgot that feature!

Actually this is now called Inner Cravings. Northbridge Plaza is a terrific shopping center and the coffee shop in the center of the plaza is the perfect place to rest up or catch up after shopping. The coffee is great, the service is efficient and friendly. The only drawback is that parking can sometimes be busy but most times this isn’t a problem.

My wife and I stopped in on our way to do our weekly shopping at Woolworths. This is the first time we have visited under the latest management and the decor has been simplified and cleaned up to a less cluttered environment. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful which is best practice customer service. A welcome change from the previous uninterested cafe staff. The Manager was particularly helpful with suggestions for the best cakes on display. On his suggestion, I had a beautiful and delicious, crispy peach muffin that was succulent and delightful, with a well made cappuccino and my wife had a small lemon cake and a weak long black coffee. Very nice indeed and we will certainly return again, for more of the same. Highly recommended.

I always come here for coffee when I'm passing through or meeting someone for lunch, coffee is great, friendly and quick service
