This place was recommended to me by a friend. So a table for 2 before a show it was. Berry Sangria was amazing. Friendly service. Share plates of Chorizo, pork belly, ribs, and trio of chips were all delicious. Have been back a second time which was just as good. View all feedback.
What Caitlyn Spencer doesn't like about Hestia's Cafe Restaurant:
$56 for 2 people? What a joke that would be sharing one entrée between both of you. Food is overpriced and not even close to authentic Spanish food, the workers are rude, in a rush and have no care for the customers experience. Went here with 6 friends on the weekend and can honestly say not one of us would come back to this place, would rather dine at a school canteen.
The pastas bravado is the best I had and the pig bell is devine. the beverage menu is extensive, but I enjoyed the cava especially. service is not available
Great food and service. prawns, patatas bravas and seafood and chorizo paella. I look forward to going back and tasting more dishes.
Eating was really nice, many different tapas options. cheap cocktails and friendly atmosphere. the service can be slow when there is group booking on the back.
Definitely recommend this place for a group. The $40 per person set menu fills you up very nicely and gives you a taste of a great variety of their dishes. No complaints about the food at all everything was delicious. Came out pretty quickly and before we knew the table was packed with dishes. The restaurant layout is a bit odd with two separate rooms but it still has a nice vibe. Sangria's are very nice but at $40 a jug for 5 small glasses with a lot of ice I think it's a little overpriced.
A little Northbridge gem. I had never heard about Hestia's Cafe Restaurant until walking past it on Lake Street. We had vowed to try it due to their extensive tapas menu and chocolate crepe cake for dessert! When we arrived, we realised we didn't even have to make a booking as there were plenty of empty tables. We ordered the patatas bravas, Seafood Toast and the Seafood Paella. We were warned that the paella would take 45 minutes to cook, which was fine for us. The seafood toast and patatas bravas came out first. The seafood toast was slighty salty, but the combination of seafood was delectable with the buttery toast. The patatas bravas was sort of crispy, and had a nice combination of 2...read more
