I had a delicious fry-up at this restaurant, which was exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Jenny's in Northampton, the portion size was twice as big, the food was twice as delicious, and it was a little cheaper. View all feedback.
What William Cooper doesn't like about Wolfies Cafe:
Used to come here quite a lot when we lived near by and although was a bit pricy it was okay to settle for when your hungry (it's never been that great visited at the weekend and I wouldn't even feed the food we were...served to a dog. Breakfast was a tiny portion for £6 (meant to be a big breakfast HA sausages so overdone it was black and hard, potatoes were vile. Partner had the omelette and that was even worse (is... Good breakfast, nicely cooked and served immediately by friendly helpful staff. many people came through while they were here, but the atmosphere was calm, quarrelous and cheerful.
I was taken for a brecky at Wolfies by a mate and I hadn't heard of it before. As we walked in the door it was warm and fresh inside. Staff were very friendly and soon had us sat down with menus. We had the...small breakfasts which were plenty, with fried potatoes and fried bread ! The cafe was clean and cheerful and had a nice look and feel to it. The small breakfast was £4-49 plus the cost of a coffee. But they do a large breakfast and a huge breakfast ! The food was clean, hot and well cooked, tasty and wholesome, very nice. We were made to feel welcome and we will go again to eat and chill out with family and friends. Parking is a bit of an issue due to a lot of local permit holder parking and very little general on street parking nearby. But fit people without disabilities can walk from further away where there is parking. But over all its worth the trip. Possibly under rated.
Been here a few times as live local, best breakfast in Northampton in my opinion, nice and friendly staff and good food :
This cafe is very clean and has a nice decor. The staff are friendly, but it is slightly more expensive compared to other places. However, the extra cost is worth it because their fry ups taste much better than those at Super Sausage and Giggling Sausage. The only downside is that parking can be difficult due to resident-only bays and limited general parking, as well as strict parking wardens in Northampton.
