Never go anywhere else to eat when visiting town, in fact we make a special trip just for our lunch. All the food is homemade and the specials are top notch. If the Corned beef pie is on the specials then that is a must!!...The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly and that goes for the customers and the staff and the owner/chef is a great guy!
I had seen this place on passing, and stopped off to try it this week. There are brick steps leading down to the very pretty cafe. On entering I noticed slightly low ceilings but not an issue for my partner. The cafe is welcoming...and cosy, the staff/owners polite and efficient. The pannini with melted brie, bacon and cranberry was delicious, as was the dark hot chocolate. The cafe is clean and bright, with an outside seating area. I felt transported from the hustle and bustle of town.
Great homemade food, reasonably priced and served with a smile. This was a lunchtime meal so prompt service was a must, we weren’t disappointed.
