I rang to complain asi felt it was wrong and was told i would have to drive back the cold food to get replacements. Buyer Beware.

She was served by 2... read more After visiting Kingsthorpe Cemetery yesterday lunchtime ,my daughter decided she fancied a bag of chips to eat in the car on the way home . She was served by 2 very unkempt men behind the counter who did 'nt seem very keen on their appearance (even though they were serving food) . Never in my life i have seen chips looking and tasting so awful ! When my daughter returned to the car and opened the lid to the chip box all of the chips were black, and stone cold . As i had parked on the main road and could 'nt turn up to one of the side streets, i told my daughter to close the lid on them and we would throw them away as soon as we got home . I hate to leave bad reviews anywhere but reading all of the other comments and reviews ,it seems i am not alone with my opinion .

I said it was fine, but asked if he could contact the driver to see how far away he was. He was then derailing and telling me to be patient, even though the order was 15 minutes late. I waited an extra 15 minutes, then called, and they told me again that the order was on the way. This time they said another 10 minutes. I waited, then called 10 minutes later, and the man on the phone started shouting and telling me it wasn't his fault. Not even one apology. Not even at least in passing. He did not once ask me for my address to see specifically what was happening with my order, and was disinterested in anything I had to say. Again, no apology, just him telling me it's not his or the restaurant's fault. Very clear they've been using taxis to deliver food. They hold deliveries until they've a batch and then send them out at the same time. When our food arrived, it was poorly cooked, squashed, and cold. The person on the phone also told me he couldn't understand my English accent. Lmao. Don't order from this restaurant. Poor service, and even worse attitude when confronted or questioned about it. Disinterested, rude and unprofessional. Their Just Eat reviews are appalling. Comments upon comments about undercooked food and 2-3 hour waiting times. Steer clear
