I highly recommend trying the seafood pasta, it was out of this world. The atmosphere is also very charming and cozy. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

The mixed plate was different to the one advertised, but several cheeses, two cooked meats, chutney and bread and cheese biscuits made a plateful. Very busy and we went early as it was a pre-theatre trip for us, so we could just walk through to the theatre.

The cheese was delicious, but only having one cracker per cheese, along with grapes and no chutney, felt lacking and not worth the price. My partner enjoyed their pizza. However, if they plan on serving cocktails, they should have more staff as the wait was quite long. Overall, the experience was almost fantastic.

The staff at John Franklin's went above... read more I graduated from the Royal Derngate theatre yesterday and was having trouble organizing the day for my elderly parents. The staff at John Franklin's went above and beyond to help out. They took care of my parents while I ran around getting everything ready. When I returned, my parents were well-fed and happy, ready for the ceremony. The staff made sure they were comfortable and I am very grateful for their assistance. Thank you!
