Andrews Take Away - Northampton

I have been ordering from this restaurant for 9 years now and the food has always been delicious. The service is good and they have improved a lot over the years. Highly recommend.

I've been here for over 20 years. what tells you everything. I have either a large sausage chip or a chicken breast chip.

This chip shop is a huge letdown. First of all, I don’t expect chips to run out at peak times. Tonight, I witnessed a long wait, raw chips, and chips dripping in grease. It’s clear that the staff have no food experience. I will be sharing my review with Northampton Council to review your hygiene rating. You currently have a rating of 2 (improvement necessary), but I believe major improvement is necessary. Avoid go elsewhere.

Very poor staff and very bad service , never have a clue what is going on

This has to be the worst fish and chip shop in the town. We live locally to this take away and when we moved here we used to go weekly and it was okay. Now it’s awful. We keep giving it the benefit of the doubt in case the food has been poor as as a one off and it hasn’t changed. We’ve found another fish and chip shop not too far away that is amazing but unfortunately it is closed for the holidays so had to go back to this one last night. What a mistake it was!!! 19.40pm and the chips were not fresh, all hard.. cold and very over cooked. Why can’t they get it right… we are never going there again and would advise others to avoid.
