Within 5 minutes of being seated, a waitress asked if I was ready to order. I ordered the 'special which was Fish, chips and mushy peas with a slice of bread and butter and either tea, coffee or a soft drink. I asked for a glass of Cola. This offer costs £6.35. I had difficulty finishing it due to the generous portion sizes.I used to live in a village near Northampton, and I remember when this establishment first opened. This was in the region of 1981 or 1982. They were good then, and equally as good now. Staff are friendly, food is excellent value. What more could you want?
