DaRosa Cafe and Restaurant - North York

I used to work beside this place and it actually made a crappy job better.I went to lunch in this place all most everyday for a year.Everything i have eaten at DaRosa has been delicious.I really liked the chicken, the roast pork was excellent,the little potatoes were the best i have ever had.If you are in the area and want a great value tasty lunch this is the spot for you.

We found this restaurant while browsing nearby kitchen and bath showrooms. It was time for lunch and we wanted to stay in the area. Darosa proved to be a happy choice. Don't go here if you need glitzy decor but do go if you want delicious food served by friendly staff at incredible prices. This place has to be the best value I have ever encountered. Our table of four had delicious chicken, sole, vegetables and homemade potato chips accompanied by a half litre of the house white wine. Custard tarts for dessert and coffee. The whole meal for under $50.00 gratuity included. We've often paid three to four times for a meal for four in Toronto and gone away no more satisfied. Try Darosa - I can't think you will be disappointed. We'll definitely make a detour to return here in the future.

What an amazing meal we enjoyed here! The staff were so friendly and helpful in recommending true Portuguese fare to enjoy. Lovely, little, quaint, authentic restaurant. Check it out.

It is a relatively small restaurant on a corner location that appears very clean, has a lot of dedicated clientele and a lot of window seating and an outdoor patio. Prices are very reasonable. Good steak topped with an egg. My family has enjoyed their seafood and chicken. You don't pay much for a bottle of good Portuguese wine and the capuccino is good. I find the service to be friendly and quick without rushing you.
