What Isabella doesn't like about Poured Coffee:
The coffee is one of the best in the city and I like the idea of 0 waste, but the way the owner goes around it can improve. At the heart of danforth beaches- I understand it’s a local area, but it’s a busy one as well. I think disposable cups should still be offered but at an extra cost cash should be taken... I love a good neighbourhood coffee shop but not sure why folks like this spot. The staff is barely courteous, they make it feel like it’s an inconvenience to serve you.I asked for a peppermint mocha but apparently my server only heard ‘mocha’ so he just squirted a bit of peppermint syrup into my cup when I asked about it. It made no difference to the taste, I couldn’t taste the peppermint at all but he’d been so apathetic that I couldn’t be bothered to ask for more syrup.Won’t be going here again.
Come for the coffee (which is splendid), stay for the amazing service community! Britney and Claudia are incredible ?
This is a great local cafe. I strongly recommend their cortado.
