What Sima A doesn't like about Playa Cabana Taqueria Norte:
I ordered take out, 1 Elotes and 3 soft chicken tacos. The tacos is salty, the Elotes was cold and under cooked, I was told it is grilled and it was not. I paid$33, it is pricy considering the quality of food. However, the staff who placed my order was nice and helpful. Would not recommend it. Really great food, servers were awesome. A little bit cafeteria vibe but not bad at all. A bit pricier than expected but very good food. Highly recommend. I had chicken but don't see it in options to recommend Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access. A bit tight but very do-able. Washroom on main floor but can't remember if there was a handicap stall Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Guacamole, Tortilla Chips

What a joke 3:30 pm today, they wont take 8 ppl with separate bills??? That waiter should be fired. Went to union social instead. New building nextdoor, no wonder its empty! Service 0 Service: 1
It's not a bad place, the food is average, but I find it to be overpriced for the kind of food they serve and the casual vibe they cultivate. Drinks in particular are super expensive. Tacos are small, but there's so much sauce there that they're quite filling. The thing that I don't understand is not being able to order different types of tacos when I order my portion. It has to be the same type of taco even though the pricing is either exactly the same or very similar for all of them; I think that's ridiculous. Anyway, octopus tacos are the worst, they're undercooked and gummy. I recommend their burrito bowls. Don't waste money on any desserts. They also seem to be hung up on reservations to the point they wouldn't let us sit at the table we chose because it was supposedly reserved, yet when we walked in all but one table were empty (so any one of them can be reserved instead when a paying customer walks in). Over the next hour and a half I noticed that no one showed up to sit at the table they were guarding. There has to be a better way to deal with reservations that doesn't involve servers guarding tables that no one sits at. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
